Live system/Production environment

Added by Per G over 7 years ago

To be able to design the application appropriate, I would like to get some more information about the requirements and the process to migrate the application to Nordnets live system in the production environment.

1. Can I connect several (unlimited) number of Nordnet accounts to my application? Both my own accounts and accounts belonging to other people/organizations (assuming they have allowed my application to connect and handle their accounts). Or should there be one application for each Nordnet customer?

2. If I have several accounts attached to my application, and e.g. only one account has Wintrade/realtime access. Is this enough to get realtime access in the public feed?

3. Do you have information about the requirements/process related to certify the application for the live system?

4. As I understand, the source code has to be deposit to Nordent for review. Is this neccessary for all types of application (wheter the code will be distrubuted as an applicatiion to our customers, or if the code only will be executed in our server environment). Do you have information about the agreement or how we can protect the copyright of our own propriotary application.

5. How long time does it take to migrate an application from test to the live system?

Very sorry about the late reply. Basically we will improve the information on the nExt page on the main site to also include the agreements and general guidelines.

The general idea is one account per application.

That is enough but basically not an issue due to 1.

3. Do you have information about the requirements/process related to certify the application for the live system?

More information on that will also appear, but it is a trial run of your code with us checking the results.

Yes, it is necessary for all applications. The production agreement will state that we make no claim on your code and we will treat it as confidential.

5. How long time does it take to migrate an application from test to the live system?

The actual certification is less than an hour. To that you need to add time for navigating agreements and so on. Count on a few days to a week.

Hej,

Henrik

Good point, Henrik.

The general idea is one account per application.

I did open up for confusion and this was supposed to say one customer/user for each application. If your login has access to multiple accounts like KF, IPS and alike that's all fine.

Ok.

Thanks Tommi.
